A simple gesture. A phone message. Barren trees. Griffith juxtaposes these sound and visual elements to bring attention to the long wait endured by African Diaspora in Germany for official status, respect and reparations. Commissioned by Ballhaus Naunynstrasse for their thematic, monthly collection of short films.
